FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When will you be reviewing your next round of applications?
The inaugural class for 2008-09 is now full, and we do not enroll students mid-year. Applications for full-time study beginning September 2009 (click here for guidelines) will be reviewed in late Spring. Please check back on our website in January 2009 for specific deadlines.

Does JCSA offer a program for part-time study?
The JCSA program is a three-year, full-time commitment. Please check back on our website, or join our mailing list to receive information on future evening/weekend programs.

Does JCSA offer financial aid or workstudy scholarships?
JCSA regrets that it currently cannot offer any financial aid and scholarships; a very limited number of work-study positions may be available for students who have shown exemplary commitment to their studies, but are not guaranteed for the duration of the program.

I would like to present a lecture, or am interested in teaching opportunities. Who do I contact?
Thank you for your interest in sharing your expertise with our program. JCSA is developing a lecture series that addresses a wide range of topics aimed to broaden perceptions and elevate the study of art; from art history and current issues in art; to traditional and contemporary practices in other fields. If you are interested in presenting your area of expertise, please send us an outline of your proposed lecture and a résumé.

JCSA is not currently seeking teachers for its full-time program, although you are welcomed to send us your résumé and references which will be kept on file and considered if an opportunity should arise.

I am interested in modeling for classes, who do I contact?
JCSA is seeking professional figure models. If you are interested, please email your contact information, availability, and references to info@januscollaborative.org. All applicants will be responded to, please do not telephone.
